Privacy Policy

What this covers

This policy describes the NYPTID Echo Chamber: the website, NYPTID Echo for Windows, NYPTID Meridian ADE, cloud transcription, translation, bidirectional real-time multilingual live calls, Agent, Echo Notes, Vision, accounts, and Square billing.

Information processed

Audio and transcripts

Cloud audio is transmitted to NYPTID infrastructure and the configured inference providers (Groq Whisper, and where needed Azure Speech/Translator or fal Scribe). Raw audio is discarded after processing unless you turn on a local retention setting. Transcripts and call captions follow your account and desktop settings. Live-call capture is visible in the app and requires you to confirm that participants have consented where the law requires it.

Service providers

NYPTID uses infrastructure, authentication, email, billing, and inference providers, including Vercel, Contabo, Google, Resend, Square, xAI, and Azure, to deliver the service. Their processing is limited by their contracts and policies.

Control and deletion

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of account data, subject to fraud prevention, billing, security, and legal retention duties. Sign out of Echo to revoke that device’s cloud credential. Write to the email on your account receipt or the address published on nyptid.com for privacy requests.

Security

NYPTID uses encrypted transport, hashed session and challenge tokens, scoped provider credentials, signed Square webhooks, access controls, and limited retention. No system is risk-free. Desktop updates are downloaded only from NYPTID HTTPS origins and checked against a SHA-256 in the update manifest before install.
